This isn't your ordinary donut shop. This is a bakery with handcrafted treats. For example, the chocolate donut was huge, but light and airy, and the chocolate tasted, well, chocolately!!! It didn't have that waxy texture that I've experienced at other places. They also offer other unique treats... well, you'll just have to go there to see and experience them on your own.

I stopped in again while on Capital Blvd and they are still my favorite sourdough donuts! I discovered them at Idle Hour cafe and then also saw that Daily Beer serves them on Sundays in Durham. The newest spot is a farmer's market in knight dale at oak city brewing.
The capital market location is always clean and has such a variety. The staff is extremely friendly and I love getting my dose of delicious donuts when in the area.

I stopped here for breakfast in the morning. I was craving some donuts and the reviews from the Yelp event brought me over! I ordered 3 donuts for 10 dollars. I did not get any of the filled ones, instead went for Hibiscus, Maple Bacon, and Lavender. All three donuts were really big and they all tasted good. They were really soft on the inside and not overly iced. The bacon donut had lots of bacon on it. The service was fast and friendly. It's very small but bright in the inside. Overall it was a fun time!
